BROWN BAG LUNCH PROGRAMS
- A NEW OFFERING

I am offering several program opportunities this year. Some will be held during the lunch hour and some later in the afternoon. 

As new brown bag lunches are scheduled, they will appear here. If there is nothing noted here for future classes, check the Legal-EEZE classes. I hope to hold some kind of class each month.

The time and cost will be posted as they are scheduled. Go to the class list for more information. You will get handouts for every session.

Expect adequate time for explanation of subject matter and laws, nuts and bolts and suggestions and time for at least one real life scenario appropriate to the subject matter to work through a solution to the problems. And... Expect fun! Brainstorming solutions - don't miss the opportunity!! Find out you are not alone.

Plenty of parking in the parking lot for face-to-face meetings. For the web classes, of course you'll be sitting before your computer in the privacy of your office or home. Face to face or not, there will be plenty of comraderie!

These lunchtime seminars will take place at the common meeting room at 3478 Buskirk Ave. - Pacific Business Center - Suite 1000, Pleasant Hill from 11am-1pm every Wednesday in January. You can call 746-7100 for directions if you get lost. (Directions are also set forth below.)

PACIFIC BUSINESS CENTER: The meeting room is in the front of the building to the right as you come in the front driveway from Buskirk Avenue. You can park there or anywhere around the buildings. Bring your own lunch. Drink machines are available. There is a cafeteria in the building if you want to pick up lunch to go beforehand and bring it to the program. Other nearby food places are listed below. You eat, I will talk the first hour - then you can share too!

This is a pilot program. If it is successful, programs will be offered on Wednesdays or another day, every month, the frequency to be determined by enthusiasm and interest of attendees. I will be looking for your suggestions.

You can pay the $20 ahead of time or at the door (remember, January meetings are free to one attendee from each association or business - if there is only 1 - that's ok!). I need you to RSVP to me by phone message (925 736-7177) or email bgprograms@aol.com if you can make it so that I can make sure there are enough chairs and table spaces.

DIRECTIONS COMING SOUTH ON 680: Take the Gregory Lane - Monument Blvd exit in Concord/Pleasant Hill area. It will take you straight off the freeway - go to the end - you are turning left but will make the first right after getting on Monument Blvd so get in the right-most left-turning lane. Turn right by the shopping center (KOHLS STORE). That is Buskirk Avenue. Go through the stop sign and around the bend and into Hookston Square. 3478 is the right hand building. Go in the front door to Pacific Business Center.

DIRECTIONS COMING NORTH ON 680 - Take the Geary Road/Treat Blvd. Exit and go straight through 2 lights and the exit road will come to an end. You will want to turn left. If you look at the street signs - Oak Road goes right, Buskirk Avenue is if you go left. Go through the light over the hill and past Best Buy and watch for Hookston Square front gate. Go to end of street and park somewhere - it's the front door of the right hand building.

DIRECTIONS FROM CONCORD/PLEASANT HILL: Monument or Contra Costa to Buskirk (by the new KOHLs store and big shopping center)

DIRECTIONS FROM WALNUT CREEK: Civic becomes Oak Road becomes Buskirk.

Other food cash and carry choices:

Coming South on 680, at the shopping center there is Chinese food and lots of other stores/shops opening up, and a Starbucks.

Coming North on 680 or from Walnut Creek - right where the 680 exit meets Oak Road/Buskirk, there is a huge apartment complex and a little mall with a 7-eleven and Subway and coffee shop if you want more lunch choices.
